Our Work

Cordova Project

Project Overview

The Cordova Project entails the development of a constructable design aimed at relocating a 9-way Telus duct bank to accommodate a necessary deflection of a BC Hydro electrical vista.

Challenges

The primary challenge revolved around acquiring the updated BC Hydro electrical design and suppling a design based on constructability utilizing proper deflections due to large trunk cable in existing ducts.

Solution

To address this challenge, we leveraged AutoCAD and GIS technologies to import existing data, meticulously mapping out the absent utilities and charting a precise course, devoid of infrastructure conflicts, all while replying on our in-house civil expertise.

End Result

As a result of our efforts, Telus has successfully progressed with the permit approval process with the City of Vancouver and is now poised to commence construction. Additionally, they are now equipped to order materials and provide the client with an updated construction completion date.
