Berto Contractors Ltd began in June 1994, founded by Alberto P Morgadinho, who immigrated from Portugal to Canada in hopes of creating a better life for his family.  Alberto was not an educated man but he knew how to work, had a good work ethic and took pride in everything he did.  After many years of working in underground utility construction, he decided he would start a company of his own to create an opportunity to provide for his family. 

The company began very small and endured many struggles. Through hard work and perseverance, Berto Contractors grew and Alberto managed to create a business that he was proud of. Alberto was respected and was known for his hard work, dedication, and good workmanship. His primary customer was TELUS Communications and after 25 years of business, we continue to have a good working relationship.

Regretfully, Alberto is no longer with us today, but we continue to run his company with his same morals and ethics, hard work and respectable workmanship. Since 2016 Berto has seen a great deal of growth in staffing as well as diversifying in services and products offered.  It is our goal to continue to grow the legacy Alberto has created for generations to come.
