Westridge

Project Overview:

The Westridge project involved the provision of a preliminary design and the integration of an orthophotograph to visually depict construction activities across both public and private locations.

Challenges:

The project encountered challenges stemming from conflicting information outlined in a PDF document, particularly regarding redlines, which conflicted with existing utilities. Additionally, aligning the orthophotograph was complicated by the absence of a current site plan of the area.

Solution:

To address these challenges, we revised the proposed conduit placement route, ensuring alignment with City standards. This process involved the utilization of GIS and AutoCAD technologies.

Results:

The updated design facilitated the precise determination of meters per square, enabling the estimator to complete an accurate build quote inclusive of all required materials.
